What Is the 10-Year Malaysian Passport?
The 10-year Malaysian passport is a new option for adult Malaysian travelers. Instead of renewing every five years, you can now apply for a passport that lasts a full decade.
This change was officially gazetted under the Fees (Passports and Visas) (Amendment) Order 2026 (P.U. (A) 208/2026) and came into effect on June 3, 2026.
